Box Chair follows the doctrine of the modernist architects and industrial designers of the early 20th century, where form follows function.   The foundation in this chair is the box structure, which supports the seat and the backrest with its 2 seating positions. the plain surfaces on the sides, becomes a canvas for the 100% analog function to be shown as the only form of ornamentation in the design. The core structure of the backrest is left naked, to allow the beauty of the materials and craftsmanship to be shown.
